Job Summary
Advanced consulting’s actively seeking creative, innovative, to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer. This position will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, as a member of the technical staff the Sr. Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of new electronic products up to full production. This includes specification reviews, development program timelines and reports, etc.
Description
Deep understanding of Survey Management, FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery) and Corrections including Customer Communication
Detailed survey data analysis, including the creation of case studies and forensic analysis
Assistance in real-time job troubleshooting
Customer interaction and technical sales role, including the creation of customer-specific brochures and presentations
Creation of technical presentations for (KOM) Kick off Meeting.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or related field, minimum of 10 years of hands on experience in downhole tool electronics, electronics design including component selection and schematics.
Must be eligible to work in the United States of America
Must live in or relocate to the Houston, TX area within 60 days of accepting the position
Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and be eligible to drive Company vehicle including the ability to meet requirements of Company’s Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and the ability to lift 35 lbs. and bend is required.
Experience
MWD – LWD-RS Rotary Steerable: 5 years (Required).
Education
Associates Degree (Best) Or High School Diploma or GED
Knowledgeable in basic MWD Theory (Pulse and EM)
Basic MWD Surface Receiver Knowledge (Bench Tree, Extreme, Digi Drill).
